Casa Marija
Centrally located in the heart of Sliema, Casa Marija opened in 2018 as a residential home. Casa Marija’s concept is based upon the philosophy of CareMalta “Quality, Safety, Integrity, Development and Dignity”. This ensures that the running of the home is carried out according to the highest possible standard of care. All aspects in the design of each residential room has been considered so whether residents are with us for a long period or simply a short stay, they feel comfortable, secure and happy.
Admission
Upon receiving an enquiry, the potential resident and his relatives are invited to visit the home to attend an orientation visit, prior to their the admission. During this visit, new residents will be given a tour of the facility and briefed on the facilities offered at the Home.
Services offered
Accommodation and room facilities
Most of the residential rooms are twin sharing. There are six levels in the building and access to each floor is through the main staircases or via one of the three lifts linking all floors. The rooms are fully air-conditioned with windows or balconies overlooking Manuel Dimech street, St Marys street or the internal yard. All rooms are with en-suite shower rooms with easy access, electrical motorised beds, nurse call system, telephone and a television connection.
Reception
The Facility reception will be open from 0700 to 19:00 Monday to Sunday including public holidays. However, in case of any queries one can contact Reception staff (24 hour service) to assist you.
Personal Care
Laundry – Residents’ personal clothes are washed in-house and included in the daily room rate.
Linen/Towel Services – Linen such as sheets, pillow cases, towels and other personal needs are provided in-house.
Chapel Services
Rosary and Holy Mass are celebrated daily in our Chapel dedicated to St. Mary’s. Holy Communion is also held in the residents’ rooms. Residents may also choose to watch these services live on their television in their own room to watch these services live.
Parking
Residents and relatives are welcome to make use of the facility’s parking during visiting hours.

Smoking is not permitted in the premises.
